I acquired the name SHEBANG for

I acquired the name SHEBANG for my kennel name when I was in Alabama going to college at Auburn University. We listened to alot of country music down there (what else would you listen to in AL?) even though that type of music had really never been my thing until that was my only choice and I learned to like it! My best friend in college had always been a country music fan and actually bought me a CD of a group I'd never heard of before. I thought I'd pop it in and give it a try with her telling me to really listen to track #2 . . .   Well, the CD was SheDaisy and their title album is called "The Whole Shebang." Track #2 is called "I Will . . . But" and these girls sing about how they can be their man's "whole shebang" if he just treats her right and "makes her feel like a woman should." You just have to hear the song! It actually is an awesome song - I love it!

      I had been racking my brain for a kennel name since I knew I wanted to pursue the goal of bettering the best breed in the world, but I was having a tough time. Well, I kinda always liked "The Whole Shebang" expression anyway and I think my dog's are certainly THE WHOLE SHEBANG!!! Plus, Shebang Danes kinda rhymes!!
      So, there you have it! My kennel name is Shebang Great Danes because my dogs ARE the WHOLE SHEBANG!!!! Temperament, health, conformation, size, substance, correct color, beauty, personality, brains   . . . .   you name it!!!!!

The word "shebang" actually means a shack or a hut. However, the English word shebang is a variation of the Irish work "shebeen." A shebeen is an establishment where liqour is sold without a license. I did not know this when I chose this kennel name but it sure does give me ideas for theme names!
